New York Giants Schedule

The New York Giants attempt at defending their 2011 Super Bowl title didn’t go as planned. The Giants finished 2nd in the NFC East at 9-7 and were left out of the playoffs. New York got off to a strong 6-2 start, but would lose five of their final eight.
There’s no question New York will be motivated to get back to the postseason in 2013. Having the 9th easiest strength of schedule will definitely help out, but I wouldn’t consider their schedule easy by any means. The Giants will take on the NFC North, AFC West, Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks on top of their six division games.
You would think the Giants would benefit from playing three games against the Chargers, Chiefs and Raiders, but they have to go on the road to face both the San Diego and Kansas City. Out of their four games against the AFC West, the only sure thing is a home game against the Raiders. With the Eagles figuring to be better, the rest of their games are against teams who come in with a legit shot at making the playoffs.
Predicting where any team in the NFC East will finish is extremely difficult. I could see the Giants going 10-6 and winning the division, but at the same time I could see them going 7-9 and finishing near the bottom. Here’s a complete look at the Giants schedule with the predicted odds for each game.
Update – Cantor Gaming has released their odds for every game of the regular season. We’ve included that line, as well as the line we projected a few weeks before these were released. We’ve also added a column to show the likelihood that the team will win the game based on the odds given from Cantor. For some reason Cantor did not offer lines for any team for Week 17 of the season, so we used our line for the Week 17 calculations.
At the very bottom of the schedule you’ll see the expected win totals posted by both Cantor Gaming and Atlantis Casino, how many wins the odds project, and a recommendation based on those expected wins.
