Dolphins vs Bills Game Odds & Betting Preview
The Bills have now lost two out of their last three games after falling 19-16 on the road in Cleveland last weekend to drop to 6-3 on the season overall. Buffalo appeared to be on the way to their seventh victory of the campaign until the Browns scored a late touchdown to pull off a dramatic comeback. QB Josh Allen went 22/41 for 266 passing yards through the air while also adding two touchdowns on the ground despite having only six rushing attempts. John Brown led the way for the receiving corps, hauling in five catches for 77 yards. As a whole, the Bills generated almost 350 total yards of offense in the loss.
Buffalo was pretty solid defensively against the Browns, giving up just two touchdowns despite allowing almost 400 total yards of offense. The Bills did struggle to contain Cleveland WR Jarvis Landry at times, as he racked up nine receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown.
The Dolphins won their second straight game last weekend, beating Indianapolis on the road 16-12 to improve to 2-7 on the season overall. Miami jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first half and never looked back, holding on down the stretch despite getting outscored 12-6 over the final two quarters. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick went 21/33 for 169 passing yards through the air while also finding the end zone on the ground. DeVante Parker also chipped in, making five catches for 69 receiving yards. Overall, the Dolphins gained almost 250 total yards of offense in the victory.
Miami had a very impressive outing on the other side of the ball in Week 10, holding the Colts to just over 300 total yards of offense and one touchdown. The Dolphins did a great job getting pressure to backup QB Brian Hoyer, as they forced him to throw three interceptions and held him to only 204 passing yards.
Free NFL Betting Predictions and Pick: Bills -6.5
While I would have loved to jump on Buffalo when they opened at just -5, I still think that they are the best play against the spread in this spot. Miami has certainly looked much better over their last couple of games, especially defensively where they have only allowed 30 total points. However, it is important to remember that they were up against offenses led by Sam Darnold and Brian Hoyer, so the market may be overreacting a little bit to their current two game win streak. The Bills will also be highly motivated after an extremely disappointing loss against Cleveland last weekend in a game they should probably have found a way to win.

Buffalo has also outscored the Dolphins by an average of over ten points over their last three meetings, so I like their chances of covering this 6.5 point spread. It is also important to remember that Miami will be without Preston Williams for the rest of the season, which leaves DeVante Parker as pretty much the only deep threat on the roster. The Dolphins have also struggled at home so far this season, winning just one out of their last six games at Hard Rock Stadium. On the other side, Buffalo has been quite strong on the road this year, going a very impressive 3-0-1 against the spread. I’ll lay the points and roll with the road favorite on Sunday afternoon – give me the Bills to cover!
