Eagles vs Seahawks Game Odds & Betting Preview
The Seahawks managed to come away with a victory their last time out, beating San Francisco 27-24 on the road in overtime to improve to 8-2 on the season overall. Seattle gave up two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to blow an 11-point lead but managed to right the ship during the extra session, kicking a game winning field goal on their second possession. QB Russell Wilson was fantastic, going 24/34 for 232 passing yards and a touchdown through the air while also adding 53 rushing yards on just six carries. RB Chris Carson led the way on the ground, rushing for 89 yards and a score on a team-high 25 carries. TE Jacob Hollister also chipped in, finding the end zone on one of his eight catches for 62 yards. Overall, the Seahawks generated well over 350 total yards and scored two touchdowns on offense against a very strong 49ers defense.
Seattle was solid defensively against the Niners, giving up just a single touchdown despite allowing more than 300 total yards of offense. The Seahawks really did a great job shutting down San Francisco on the ground, holding them to just 87 rushing yards.
The Eagles came up just short against New England on Sunday Night Football last weekend, falling 17-10 at home to drop back to .500 on the season overall. Philadelphia gave up eight unanswered points in the third quarter and never recovered, coming up a touchdown short on the scoreboard as time expired. QB Carson Wentz wasn’t at his best, going just 20/40 for 214 passing yards and a touchdown. RB Miles Sanders let the way on the ground, rushing for 38 yards on 11 carries. TE Zach Ertz led the way for the receiving corps, hauling in nine catches for 94 yards. As a whole, the Eagles gained 295 total yards of offense and found the end zone just once against a rock-sold Patriots defense.
Philadelphia had a decent outing on the other side of the ball in Week 11, surrendering just over 300 total yards of offense and just one touchdown to the Pats offense. The Eagles were especially strong defending against the run, giving up only 82 net rushing yards.
Free NFL Betting Predictions and Pick: Seahawks +1
There really doesn’t appear to be a ton of value against the spread on either side, as this game could easily go either way. The total also looks pretty bang on to me, although I would probably lean slightly towards the UNDER on 48 total points scored. Ultimately, I really don’t want to bet against the surging Seahawks right now, as I think they will find a way to win outright on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia has been playing much better defensively as of late, but their offense has only averaged 18 points per game over their last four games. On the other side, Seattle has scored at least 27 points in three out of their last four outings, which certainly bodes well for their chances of grinding out a victory in a tough environment.

It is also important to note that the Seahawks have absolutely dominated Philadelphia against the spread over the past several seasons, covering the number in seven out of their last ten meetings overall. Seattle has also been fantastic on the road so far this year, going a very impressive 4-1 against the spread over their last five games away from CenturyLink Field. On the other side, the Eagles are a brutal 1-4 ATS in their last five games at home against Seattle. I’m going to take the free point and roll with the road underdog on Sunday afternoon – give me the Seahawks win straight up!
