The Aztecs had a 10-7 lead at the half and put the game out of reach late after scoring seven unanswered points in the fourth quarter. QB Ryan Agnew went 33/47 for 323 passing yards and a touchdown through the air while RB Chance Bell led the way on the ground with 52 rushing yards on 14 carries. The Aztecs had a spectacular outing on the other side of the ball against Fresno State, surrendering just over 200 total yards of offense and only one touchdown. San Diego State did a great job shutting down the Bulldogs through the air, allowing only 136 passing yards while also recording three interceptions.

Hawaii has now won two out of their last three games after beating UNLV 21-7 last weekend to improve to 7-4 on the season overall. The Rainbow Warriors gave up an early touchdown but dominated both sides of the ball over the next three quarters, scoring 21 unanswered points. Jared Smart led the way for the receiving corps, hauling in nine receptions for 106 yards. Overall, Hawaii gained well over 400 total yards and found the end zone two times on offense in the victory.

The Rainbow Warriors were fantastic defensively against UNLV, holding the Rebels to just under 250 total yards of offense and a single touchdown. Hawaii did a great job getting pressure to QB Kenyon Oblad, forcing two interceptions and giving up just 118 passing yards.

NCAA Football Betting Predictions & Free Pick: SD State +3

Taking the points and rolling with the road favorite in this Mountain West Conference battle appears to be the optimal play in this particular spot, as this matchup could easily go either way. I actually think that the Aztecs will find a way to win this game outright, so the fact that they are also getting plus-points seems like to good of an offer to pass up. Not only does San Diego State own the better record overall through their first ten games, they also have the edge against the spread over the Rainbow Warriors so far this year as well.

Hawaii has really struggled against the Aztecs over the past couple of years, going a brutal 3-6-1 against the spread over their last ten meetings overall. The Rainbow Warriors have also been terrible at home for well over two full seasons, as they have only covered the number four times over their last 18 outings at Aloha Stadium. Finally, they are just 1-5 ATS in their last six home games against the Aztecs as well. On the other side, San Diego State is a rock-solid 6-3 against the spread over their last nine games overall. I’m going to take the free field goal and take a shot with the road underdog in this spot, as I think that the Aztecs will win this one straight up. Give me SDSU!
