49ers vs Packers Game Odds & Betting Preview
Green Bay Packers
The Packers have now won five out of their last six games after beating Carolina 24-16 at home their last time out to improve to 8-2 on the season overall. Green Bay scored ten unanswered points in the third quarter and managed to hold on down the stretch despite giving up a late touchdown. QB Aaron Rodgers went 17/29 for 233 passing yards through the air while RB Aaron Jones racked up 93 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Davante Adams also chipped in, hauling in seven receptions for 118 yards. As a whole, the Packers gained close to 400 total yards of offense and scored three touchdowns in the victory.
Green Bay was pretty solid defensively against the Panthers, surrendering just two touchdowns despite giving up over 400 total yards of offense. However, the Packers had a tough time trying to slow down RB Christian McCaffrey on the ground, as he racked up 141 all-purpose yards and one touchdown.
San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers bounced back nicely following their first loss of the season last weekend, topping Arizona 36-26 at home to improve to 9-1 overall. San Francisco fell behind early but really turned it on in the second half, outscoring the Cardinals 26-10 en route to a double-digit victory. QB Jimmy Garoppolo had an up and down game, going 34/45 for 424 passing yards and four touchdowns but also getting picked off twice. The running attack never got anything going on the ground, as the offense rushed for just 34 yards. Deebo Samuel torched the Cardinals secondary, exploding for eight receptions and 134 yards. Overall, the 49ers generated over 450 total yards and found the end zone four times on offense in the win.
San Francisco didn’t have a great outing on the other side of the ball in Week 11, giving up almost 300 total yards of offense and three touchdowns. The 49ers struggled trying to contain Arizona QB Kyler Murray, as he threw two touchdowns through the air while also rushing for 67 yards and another score on the ground.
Free NFL Betting Predictions and Pick: 49ers -3
This is shaping up to be a fantastic primetime showdown, as these two NFC teams have gone a combined 17-3 so far this season. While this game could certainly go either way, it’s pretty tough to bet against a San Francisco squad that is a rock-solid 4-1 outright at Levi’s Stadium through their first five home games. Of course, Green Bay has also really played well this year, covering the number in three out of their last four road games. Even so, the Packers offense could be in for a long night facing an extremely tough 49ers defense that has given up an average of just 15.5 points per game.

It is important to note that San Francisco has really dominated this matchup against the spread in recent years, going a fantastic 4-1-1 against the spread over the last six meetings between these two teams. However, the 49ers have struggled a little bit against NFC North opponents, as they are only 2-5 against the spread over their last seven games. As long as this spread doesn’t move up at all before kickoff, I like San Francisco to grind out a tough home cover here in Week 12 – give me the 49ers!
