Free NFL Betting Predictions and Pick: Packers -12.5
While I will most likely avoid this NFC clash altogether if the spread increases by even half a point before kickoff, I think that I’m willing to lay 12.5 points and take the Packers at home on Sunday afternoon. Even though I am somewhat tempted by the OVER on 41.5 total points scored, I just can’t get behind this brutal Redskins offense. Although they managed to find the end zone three times against the Panthers last weekend, all three scores came on the ground against one of the leagues worst run defenses. Dwayne Haskins has been pretty underwhelming in his rookie season, averaging well under 200 passing yards per game.

It is also important to note that Green Bay has really fared well against the spread through their first 12 games, going a rock-solid 8-4 ATS. They have also really dominated this matchup in recent years, covering the number in five out of their last eight meetings. Finally, the Packers are also 6-2 against the spread over their last eight meetings with opponents from the NFC. On the other side, Washington is just 2-3 against the spread in their last five road games. As long as there isn’t any additional upwards spread movement, I’ll take Green Bay to cover – give me the Packers!
