Rams vs Seahawks Game Odds & Betting Preview
The Seahawks have now won ten out of their first twelve games after beating Minnesota 37-30 on Monday Night Football in Week 13. Seattle scored 17 unanswered points in the third quarter to take the lead and managed to hold on down the stretch despite getting outscored 13-10 over the final 15 minutes. QB Russell Wilson went 21/31 for 240 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air while Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny combined for 176 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground. D.K. Metcalf led the way for the receiving corps, hauling in six catches for 75 yards. As a whole, the Seahawks generated over 450 total yards of offense and found the end zone four times in the victory.
Seattle didn’t play very well defensively against the Vikings, giving up over 350 total yards of offense and three touchdowns. The Seahawks had no answer for Minnesota TE Kyle Rudolph, allowing him to rack up over 50 receiving yards and a touchdown on just four catches.
Los Angeles Rams
The Rams kept their playoff hopes alive last weekend, crushing Arizona 34-7 on the road last weekend to improve to 7-5 on the season overall. Los Angeles scored 20 unanswered points in the first half and cruised to victory over the final two quarters of the game, giving up just a single touchdown the entire game. QB Jared Goff played well, going 32/43 for 424 passing yards and two touchdowns. RB Todd Gurley led the way on the ground, rumbling for 95 yards and a touchdown on a team-high 19 carries. Robert Woods absolutely torched the Cardinals secondary, exploding for 172 yards on a season-high 13 receptions. Overall, the Rams gained well over 500 total yards and scored three touchdowns on offense in the blowout win.
Los Angeles also had a solid outing on the other side of the ball against the Cardinals, surrendering just over 200 total yards of offense and only one touchdown. The Rams were especially impressive defending against the run, allowing Arizona to gain just 74 net rushing yards.
Free NFL Betting Predictions and Pick: Seahawks +1
I’m leaning towards the Seahawks against the spread in this NFC West showdown, as they have certainly been the more consistent team on both sides of the ball so far this season. While Los Angeles really played well in Week 13, their offense was held to just 35 total points over three combined outings between Weeks 10-12. The Rams have also looked quite average at home this year, going a mediocre 3-3 against the spread at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Seattle has easily been one of the best road teams in the NFL as well, covering the number in five out of their last six games away from CenturyLink Field.

The Seahawks have had the upper hand against the spread in this NFC West rivalry as of late, going 2-1 against the spread in their last three battles against Los Angeles. Seattle is also a rock-solid 4-1 against the spread over their last five games overall as well. On the other side, the Rams barely escaped with a victory when these two teams met in Los Angeles last season, winning by just five points despite being an almost double-digit favorite prior to kickoff. I’m going to take the single point and roll with the road favorite on Sunday evening in what should be one of the best games of the entire weekend – give me the Seahawks to cover!
