Ravens vs 49ers Game Odds & Betting Preview

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers have now won ten out of their first eleven games after crushing Green Bay 37-8 last weekend on Sunday Night Football. San Francisco scored 23 unanswered points in the first half and never looked back, giving up just a single touchdown the entire game. QB Jimmy Garoppolo played well, going 14/20 for 253 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air while RB Raheem Mostert led the way on the ground with 45 rushing yards and a touchdown on just six carries. TE George Kittle absolutely torched the Packers secondary, finding the end zone on one of his six receptions for 129 yards. Overall, the 49ers gained well over 350 total yards of offense and scored four touchdowns in the blowout victory.

San Francisco was fantastic defensively against the Packers, surrendering just over 200 total yards of offense and only one touchdown. The 49ers were especially impressive defending against the run, holding Jamaal Williams and Aaron Jones to a combined 83 yards on the ground.

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens pushed their winning streak to seven games last weekend, embarrassing the Los Angeles Rams 45-6 on the road to improve to 9-2 on the season overall. Baltimore scored two touchdowns in the first quarter and cruised to victory from there, tacking on 31 more points over the final 45 minutes of the game. QB Lamar Jackson continued continued to make his case for the MVP award, going 15/20 for 169 passing yards and five touchdowns through the air while also adding eight carries for 95 yards on the ground. Mark Ingram Jr. also chipped in, rumbling for 111 yards and a touchdown on a team-high 15 carries. Marquise Brown got in on the scoring parade as well, finding the end zone twice on two of his five receptions for 42 yards. As a whole, the Ravens generated close to 500 total yards of offense and scored six touchdowns in the win.

Baltimore also had a strong outing on the other side of the ball against the Rams, giving up well under 250 total yards of offense and no touchdowns. The Ravens completely shut down Los Angeles on the ground, allowing only 22 net rushing yards the entire game.

Free NFL Betting Predictions and Pick: 49ers +6

This is definitely one of the most appealing games on the entire schedule here in Week 14, as these teams have gone a combined 19-3 outright to start the season. While it’s hard to bet against what Lamar Jackson and Co. are doing offensively right now, it’s important to remember that this will be the toughest defense they have faced the entire year. Even though I do think that the Ravens will likely record their eighth-consecutive win on Sunday afternoon, I don’t see how I can leave almost a full touchdown on the table with a San Francisco squad that has only lost one game the entire season. The 49ers have been fantastic against the spread away from home as well, covering the number in three out of their last four games away from Levi’s Stadium.

Although both teams currently have identical 6-4-1 records against the spread, Baltimore is just 2-3 ATS at home this year. The Ravens have had the upper hand against the spread in this matchup as of late, covering the number in two out of their last three meetings with the 49ers. However, San Francisco is a rock-solid 5-1 against the spread in their last six battles against AFC opponents. Ultimately, this game could easily go either way, so I’m going to take a shot with the six points and the road underdog. Give me the 49ers to cover!
