Seahawks vs Cardinals Game Odds & Betting Preview
The Cardinals finally snapped their six game losing skid last weekend, beating Cleveland 38-24 at home to improve to 4-9-1 on the season overall. Arizona scored three touchdowns in the first half and never looked back, outscoring the Browns 17-14 over the final two quarters of the game. QB Kyler Murray went 19/25 for 219 passing yards and a touchdown through the air but also got picked off once as well. RB Kenyan Drake absolutely torched the Browns on the ground, racking up 137 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Damiere Byrd led the way for the receiving corps, hauling in six catches for 86 yards. As a whole, the Cardinals generated well over 400 total yards of offense and found the end zone five times in the win.
Arizona was fairly average defensively against the Browns, giving up almost 400 total yards of offense and three touchdowns. The Cardinals couldn’t find a way to slow down Cleveland RB Nick Chubb on the ground, allowing him to rush for 127 yards and a touchdown.
The Seahawks bounced back last weekend following a tough loss against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14, beating Carolina 30-24 on the road to improve to 11-3 overall. Seattle led 20-7 at the half and managed to hold on for the victory down the stretch despite getting outscored 17-10 over the final two quarters of the game. QB Russell Wilson went 20/26 for 286 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air while RB Chris Carson exploded for 133 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground. WR Tyler Lockett also chipped in, making eight receptions for 120 yards and a touchdown. Overall, the Seahawks gained close to 450 total yards of offense and scored four touchdowns against a below average Panthers defense.
Seattle had a mediocre outing on the other side of the ball against the Panthers, surrendering over 400 total yards of offense and three touchdowns. The Seahawks had no answer for Carolina RB Christian McCaffrey, as he recorded 175 all-purpose yards and found the end zone twice.
Free NFL Betting Predictions and Pick: Cardinals +9
As much as I want to roll with the Seahawks at home in this AFC West battle, I just don’t feel comfortable laying almost ten points in this matchup. Seattle’s last eight victories have all come by eight points or less, which certainly doesn’t bode well for their chances of covering this pretty sizable spread. Arizona has also been involved in plenty of close games over the past couple of months, as they were within six points of their opponents during the final minute of the fourth quarter in four out of their last five losses. While I do think that the Seahawks should find a way to win this game outright, I think that the Cardinals offense will do enough to keep things interesting down the stretch.

Arizona has really been on a roll against the spread as of late, going a very impressive 4-1-1 ATS over their last six outings. The Cardinals have also covered the number in two out of their last three outings against Seattle and are a rock-solid 5-1 against the spread over their last six trips to CenturyLink Field. On the other side, the Seahawks are only 2-4 against the spread through their first six home games this year. I’ll take the boatload of points and take a shot with the road underdog on Sunday afternoon – give me Arizona to cover!
