Seahawks vs Ravens Game Odds & Betting Preview
The Ravens won their second consecutive game last weekend, beating Cincinnati 23-17 at home to improve to 4-2 on the season overall. Baltimore grabbed a 14-7 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, adding three more field goals over the final 45 minutes of the game en route to a six-point victory. QB Lamar Jackson went 21/33 for 236 passing yards while also adding 152 yards and a touchdown on the ground. RB Mark Ingram also found the end zone on one of his 13 carries for 52 rushing yards. TE Mark Andrews led the way for the receiving corps, making six catches for 99 yards. As a whole, the Ravens racked up well over 500 total yards of offense and scored two touchdowns against their AFC North rivals.
Baltimore was pretty solid defensively against the Bengals, giving up well under 300 total yards of offense and just a single touchdown. The Ravens really did a great job shutting down Cincinnati on the ground, surrendering only 33 rushing yards all game.
The Seahawks have now won three straight games after an impressive 32-28 road victory over Cleveland in Week 6. Seattle trailed 20-18 at the half but buckled down over the final two quarters, outscoring the Browns 14-8 en route their fifth win of the season. QB Russell Wilson was fantastic, going 23/33 for 295 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air while also adding 31 yards and a score on the ground. RB Chris Carson also turned in a big performance, rushing for 124 yards and a touchdown on a game-high 24 carries. WR Tyler Lockett also chipped in, recording five receptions for 75 yards. Overall, the Seahawks gained over 450 total yards and scored four touchdown against a shell-shocked Cleveland defense.
Seattle had a pretty rough outing on the other side of the ball against the Browns, giving up over 400 total yards and four touchdowns. While the Seahawks did force QB Baker Mayfield to throw three interceptions, they also allowed RB Nick Chubb to torch them for 122 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
Free NFL Betting Predictions and Pick: OVER 48.5
This matchup looks like it could have some sneaky shootout potential, as both of these offenses have really been firing on all cylinders as of late. While the current spread looks pretty much bang on to me, I do think that the OVER on 48.5 total points offers decent value in this spot. Seattle has now scored at least 30 points in two straight games while also putting up 116 points over their last four games combined. Baltimore has also been scoring a lot recently, recording at least 23 points in four straight outings. It is also worth noting that both teams have struggled at times defensively through their first six games, as the Seahawks have given up 28+ points in three out of their last four games while the Ravens have allowed 117 points combined over that same time span.

The total has now gone OVER in four out of Baltimore’s last six games overall. This trend has also been true when the Ravens are on the road, as the OVER has come through in four out of their last five outings away from M&T Bank Stadium. On the other side, the total has gone OVER in eight out of the Seahawks last ten games overall. It has also hit in four out of Seattle’s last six meetings with Baltimore. This game could easily go either way, so I’m going to avoid picking against the spread entirely and roll with the OVER on 48.5 total points scored instead.
