Minnesota fell behind 20-0 in the first half but pulled off a remarkable comeback over the final two quarters, outscoring the Broncos 27-3. Minnesota was average defensively against the Broncos, surrendering around 400 total yards of offense and two touchdowns. The Vikings secondary had a hard time slowing down Denver WR Courtland Sutton, allowing him to make five catches for 113 receiving yards.
The Seahawks have now won four games in a row after a hard-fought 17-9 road victory in Philadelphia last weekend. Seattle jumped out to an early 7-3 lead and managed to hold on down the stretch, giving up just one touchdown the entire game. QB Russell Wilson wasn’t at his best, throwing an interception and going just 13/25 for 200 passing yards and a single touchdown. Rashaad Penny torched the Eagles defense on the ground, racking up 129 yards and a touchdown on a team-high 14 carries. Tyler Lockett led the way for the receiving corps despite making just one catch for 38 yards. Overall, Seattle generated close to 400 total yards of offense and found the end zone twice.
Seattle had a very strong outing on the other side of the ball against the Eagles, giving up just over 350 total yards of offense and one touchdown. The Seahawks were especially strong defending against the run, limiting Philadelphia to 106 yards on the ground.
Free NFL Betting Predictions and Pick: Seahawks -2.5
It’s tough not to like Seattle at home in this NFC battle, as the Seahawks have certainly been the more consistent team against the spread over the past month or so. While both Minnesota and Seattle currently sit atop of their respective divisions, the Seahawks have gone a rock-solid 4-2 against the spread in their last six games overall. The Vikings haven’t been all that strong away from U.S. Bank Stadium, as they are a very pedestrian 3-3 ATS through their first six road games. Things haven’t gone very well for Minnesota in this matchup historically either, losing five straight games outright against the Seahawks.

It is also important to note that Seattle has dominated the Vikings against the spread over the past couple of seasons, covering the number in four out of their last five meetings. Minnesota really struggled in their last trip to CenturyLink Field, losing 21-7 despite being just a three-point underdog prior to kickoff. That outing wasn’t an isolated incident either, as their previous visit ended in a 38-7 defeat in yet another game they were available at +3. On the other side, the Seahawks are a perfect 6-0 outright over their last six battles against an opponent from the NFC. I’m happy to lay the 2.5 points and take a shot with the home favorite in this matchup – give me Seattle to cover!
