PICKS IN PROGRESS
Indiana at Milwaukee 8:30 ET
Pacers (+) over Bucks- Former two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo (strained left calf) missed Sunday's 109-94 victory in Game 1 and could be out of the lineup again on Tuesday. The Pacers only led in the opening few minutes against Milwaukee. After trailing by nine at the end of the first quarter, they were outscored 39-21 in the second. The Bucks led 69-42 at halftime and cruised the rest of the way. The Pacers averaged an NBA-best 123.3 points per game during the regular season and failed to reach 100 just once. But one game into the playoffs, that season low of 99 points is standing out now.Take INDIANA!
Phoenix at Minnesota 7:30 ET
Suns (+) over Timberwolves- Minnesota is coming off a dominant 120-95 win in the series opener Saturday. Phoenix trailed by four points in the third quarter before the Timberwolves went on a 21-5 run to grab a 20-point advantage and never looked back. The Suns swept the T’wolves during the regular season. Phoenix was humbled in Game 1 as it struggled to unlock its offense. A rebound for the Suns! Take Phoenix!
Houston at Chicago Cubs 7:40 ET
Astros over Cubs- After losing nine of their past 12 games Houston is off to their worst 23-game start since 2016. Houston fell to 7-16 after dropping two of three games to the Washington Nationals over the weekend. Chicago split a four-game series against the Miami Marlins over the weekend. Chicago will send left-hander Jordan Wicks (0-2, 5.29 ERA) to the mound in the series opener and he has yet to complete five innings in four starts this season. The Astros will counter with right-hander J.P. France (0-2, 7.08), who yielded just two runs on four hits over five innings in his last start against Atlanta. Take HOUSTON!
Philadelphia at Cincinnati 6:40 ET
Reds over Phillies- The Philadelphia Phillies have won 15 of their first 23 games of the season and their starting pitching deserves much of the credit. The Phillies' starting pitchers have allowed a total of four earned runs in 51 2/3 innings over the past seven games, with 53 strikeouts against nine walks. Ranger Sanchez (1-2, 2.95 ERA) is 1-0 with a 4.09 ERA in two career starts against Cincinnati. He gave up two runs over five-plus innings in a no-decision vs. the Reds on April 1. Cincinnati will turn to left-hander Andrew Abbott (1-2, 2.70 ERA), who is making his fifth start of the season and his second of the month against the Phillies. Abbott received a no-decision against the Sanchez and the Phillies on April 1, when he allowed two runs on three hits over 5 1/3 innings. Take CINCINNATI!
Seattle at Texas 8:00 ET
Mariners over Rangers-The Mariners had a streak of eight consecutive quality starts, six or more innings pitched with three or fewer earned runs allowed snapped in the opening game of a doubleheader Sunday in Colorado. George Kirby pitched five scoreless innings before leaving with mild arm soreness. In the past 10 games, Seattle starters have a 1.44 ERA with nine walks and 64 strikeouts and have limited opponents to a .175 batting average. Logan Gilbert (1-0, 2.33 ERA) are scheduled to start tonight and he is 2-2 with a 2.88 ERA in 10 career starts against the Rangers. Take SEATTLE!
Our Review of Sports Handicapper Chip Chirimbes
Chip Chirimbes is without question one of the world’s most recognized handicappers. He’s been doing this for about 40 years, hosting and producing TV and radio shows on sports betting. He has been an expert guest featured everywhere from CNN/SI to the New York Times to the CBS Evening News.
Okay, so Chip is a bit of a celebrity. But the real question is, can he help you win, or is he just a nice face who’s been around for a while?
Don’t let the fame fool you. Chip is as sharp a handicapper as he’s ever been, and he proved it in 2015 by being the #8 handicapper on the whole site. He went 757-675 in 2015, and while a 52% win rate may not seem impressive, he made over $2,000 in profit with his picks.
He also ranked #3 in 2013 for NFL capping, and #5 in 2013-2014 for NBA capping. And he’s at it again on his NFL picks, with a 63-41 streak dating back to October 2015.
So if you’re worried about Chip being past his prime, you can stop worrying. Chip has a current all sports streak of 882-776 going since April 2014. His $100 bettors have brought in over $4,000 on those picks.
It’s hard to believe, but the numbers add up. Chip Chirimbes has both a long-standing reputation and a current hot streak. It’s hard to find a weakness in what he does. Decades of experience, current success, and a lot of picks with good winning percentage. You’ll be hard-pressed to find that kind of combination with anyone else.
