Stanford has now lost three consecutive games after falling 24-20 at home against Cal last weekend to drop to 4-7 on the season overall. Overall, Stanford gained under 350 total yards of offense and scored two touchdowns in the defeat.

NCAA Football Betting Predictions & Free Pick: Notre Dame -16
I’m leaning towards laying the 16 points and rolling with the road favorite in this particular spot, as the Fighting Irish have clearly been the better team on both sides of the ball so far this season. Notre Dame has also really fared well against the spread over the past couple of months, covering the number in seven out of their last ten outings. Stanford hasn’t been nearly as impressive, going just 3-8 against the spread through their first eleven games overall. The Cardinal offense has also been stuck in a downswing as of late, putting up no more than 22 points in four out of their last five outings.

It is important to note that the Fighting Irish have dominated Stanford against the spread over the past couple of years, covering the number in four out of their last six meetings. Notre Dame is also a very impressive 7-1 outright over their last eight games. On the other side, the Cardinal are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five outings overall. I’m going to lay the points and take a shot with the big road favorite here in Week 14 – give me the Fighting Irish to cover the spread!
