Week 12 NFL Vegas Game Lines: Point Spreads & Betting Totals
It’s Thanksgiving Week, which means we get more games earlier in the week. There’s three games on the board Thanksgiving Day and all three involve division matchups with the team that’s leading the division in action. Detroit will host the NFC North leading Chicago Bears to get things underway. Next up we have the NFC East leading Washington Redskins visiting the Dallas Cowboys. The night cap had the NFC South leading New Orleans Saints hosting the Atlanta Falcons. Here’s some nice Thanksgiving ATS trends to help you handicap the games.
Unfortunately the rest of the card for Week 12 isn’t all that great. There’s not a single matchup of two teams who currently have a winning record. There’s seven games early on Sunday and the best game on the board is the Panthers hosting the Seahawks. Every other game involves at least one team that has 3 or fewer wins and several that feature two bad teams against each other.
It doesn’t get a whole lot better in the three afternoon games. I guess there’s some intrigue in the Colts hosting the Dolphins, as one of these teams will go into Week 12 at 6-5. You could also say the Steelers at Broncos is decent and the books certainly seem to think it will be competitive, as they have the Steelers as a mere 3-point favorite.
Sunday Night Football is a huge NFC North showdown between the Packers and Vikings. While Minnesota would still be in the hunt at 5-5-1 with a win, this feels like a must-win game for both of these teams. Green Bay especially, as a loss would leave them at 4-6-1 and likely needing to win out to get in.
The week will conclude with Texans hosting the Titans in critical AFC South matchup. Houston has completely taken control of that division thanks to a 7-game winning streak, but Tennessee knows how to win ugly. One thing is for sure, these two won’t be coming anywhere close to the 105 points we saw in last week’s epic MNF showdown between the Rams and Chiefs.
