Week 13 NFL Vegas Game Lines: Point Spreads & Betting Totals
With just 5 weeks left in the season, the playoff picture is starting to take form. In the AFC there’s not much debate over who the two best teams are. Both the Patriots and Steelers sit tied a top the standings at 9-2. Keep in mind that there’s a Week 15 showdown looming between these two teams, which very well could decide the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The Titans and Jaguars are tied for the AFC South, as well as the top Wild Card spot at 7-2. The Chiefs are currently winning the AFC West at 6-5, but are now just 1-game up in the standings over both the Chargers and Raiders.
In the NFC you have the Eagles leading the charge at 10-1, but right on their heels is the Vikings at 9-2. It’s also worth noting that both of these teams have commanding leads inside their divisions. The Cowboys and Redskins have the next best record in the NFC East at 5-6, while the Lions are sitting in second in the NFC North at 6-5.
The other two divisions are completely up for grabs. The Saints and Panthers are tied for the NFC South lead at 8-3, with the Falcons just 1-game back at 7-4. Lastly the Rams lead the NFC West at 8-3, but are just 1-game in front of the Seahawks, who are at 7-4. Keep in mind that Seattle already beat the Rams on the road and will host LA in Week 15.
As for the action on tap this week, it all starts with a NFC East clash between the Cowboys and Redskins on Thursday Night Football. While both teams need a lot to go right to sneak in as Wild Card, it feels like the loser here can start looking ahead to next season.
Sunday’s card features three big games, all of which are in the NFC. The first one is the Falcons hosting the Vikings at 1:00 EST. Then in the afternoon slate of games we have first place in the NFC South up for grabs when the Saints host the Panthers. Lastly, Sunday Night Football has the Seahawks hosting the Eagles.
Week 13 concludes with an AFC North showdown, as the Bengals look to keep their playoff hopes alive when they host division rival Pittsburgh.
