Week 14 College Football Preview Schedule & Betting Odds
In previous years some conferences like the Big 12 and Sun Belt who didn’t have conference title games, would be still be wrapping up regular-season play. This year it was scheduled to just be the 10 FBS conference championship games and that’s it.
Lucky for us, there were several games that were canceled and had to be rescheduled for this week, so there’s a few more on the board to handicap.
It all starts Friday night. First up is the MAC Championship Game between Northern Illinois and Buffalo. Shortly after that kicks off the Pac-12 title will be on the line between Utah and Washington.
Right out the gate on Saturday we get the Big 12 rematch for all the marbles between Oklahoma and Texas. Then later on that afternoon it’s the game every one has been waiting for, as Alabama and Georgia square off in the SEC title game.
Unfortunately the Big Ten and ACC title games aren’t all that enticing, at least one paper. Clemson is a 26.5-point favorite against Pittsburgh and Ohio State is laying two touchdowns against a 4-loss Northwestern team.
We know that Notre Dame is in the playoffs, after they finished up at 12-0. Alabama and Clemson are in if they win and there’s a 50/50 shot that the Crimson Tide get in even with a loss. The real debate is if Ohio State and Oklahoma both win their conference titles, who will get the invite and who will be left out.
