Week 14 NFL Vegas Game Lines: Point Spreads & Betting Totals
Hard to believe but there’s just four weeks left to decide who is in and who is out of the playoffs. While no team has officially clinched a spot, several are close.
In the AFC, the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers look like locks to make it and each should win their division. The Patriots can clinch the AFC East with a win or Bills loss. Depending on how they fair on MNF to close out Week 13, the Steelers will either have a 2 or 3 game lead in the AFC North. The AFC South is dead-locked at the top with the Jaguars and Titans both at 8-4 and it appears likely the loser will make it as a Wild Card. We also have a 3-way tie in the AFC West, where the Chiefs, Chargers and Raiders are all sitting at 6-6.
In the NFC the Eagles and Vikings share the best record in the league at 10-2. Philadelphia can clinch a division title with a win or Cowboys loss, while Minnesota takes the NFC North with a win or Lions loss. Securing a division title will be nice, but the primary goal of both of these teams is to secure one of the top two seeds and get that first round bye. It’s no sure thing either will be able to hold on. That’s because you have the Saints and Rams both sitting at 9-3, while the Panthers and Seahawks also aren’t out of it at 8-4.
While there’s some clunkers on the schedule in Week 14, there’s also a bunch of intriguing matchups. It all starts on Thursday Night Football, as the Falcons host the Saints. Atlanta is currently at 7-5 and the last team out of the playoff picture in the NFC. It certainly feels like a game that the Falcons need to have if they want to make the postseason.
Early action on Sunday has two games that figure to get a lot of attention. You have a huge AFC West showdown with the Chiefs hosting the Raiders, as well as the Panthers hosting the Vikings. Two more afternoon games that are worth tuning into, as we have the Jaguars hosting the Seahawks in non-conference play and the Rams taking on the Eagles.
Sunday Night Football pits two AFC North rivals against each other, as the Steelers host the Ravens. Week 14 concludes with an AFC East clash that has Dolphins hosting the Patriots on Monday Night Football.
