It’s time to turn our attention to Week 16 of the 2018 NFL regular-season. Hard to believe that there’s just two more weeks left before the playoffs. I’ve put together a betting schedule with the game odds, start times and TV listings for each matchup.
Our staff will also be previewing each game and giving out a free betting lean on either the spread or total. Links to these previews will be added in the tables below, so be sure to check back often.
Week 16 NFL Vegas Game Lines: Point Spreads & Betting Totals
Unfortunately we have to wait a few more days until the start of Week 16, as there is no more Thursday Night Football. However, you don’t have to wait until Sunday, as there’s another Saturday double-header on the NFL Network.
Both have major playoff implications. First it’s the Titans hosting the Redskins and later it’s the Chargers hosting the Ravens. Tennessee and Baltimore are tied with Indianapolis for that final Wild Card spot in the AFC. Washington is still in the mix for both the NFC East title and a Wild Card spot. As for the Chargers, they need to win to have any hopes of overtaking the Chiefs in the AFC West. While they are tied with the same record, KC holds the tiebreaker and hosts the Raiders in Week 17.
Looking ahead to Sunday, there’s only one early game where both teams involved have a realistic shot at the postseason. That’s the Eagles hosting the Texans. Philadelphia needs to win out and get some help, while Houston needs to keep winning to secure a first round bye.
There’s one game Sunday afternoon that’s worth tuning in for and that’s the Saints hosting the Steelers. New Orleans can lock up the No. 1 seed in the NFC with a win and the Steelers are just 1/2 game ahead of the Ravens. A loss here and they could be headed into Week 17 on the outside looking in.
Sunday night is a good one, as the Seahawks host the Chiefs. Given how unlikely it is that KC loses at home to the Raiders in Week 17, they can basically secure the AFC West and No. 1 seed in the AFC with a win. Seattle’s surprising loss at the 49ers last week all the sudden puts a ton of pressure on them to win here to move one step closer to securing a Wild Card spot.
We even get NFL on Christmas Eve this year. It’s just too bad it’s a game that figures to be difficult to watch, as the Raiders host the Broncos in a matchup of two teams that are out of the playoff picture.
