We turn our attention to Week 4 of the 2016 NFL regular season. I’ve put together a full schedule of the games. I’ll be providing the spreads and totals for every game as they become available.
It’s way to early for teams to hit the panic button, but several playoff contenders are off to slow starts. That includes two NFC powers in the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals. Both of which are just 1-2 after 3 games.
In the AFC, there’s two more teams at 1-2 that a lot of people expected more of. Those being the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts. However, the most disappointing team has to be the Jacksonville Jaguars. A team many thought was ready for a breakout season has started out 0-3.
There’s only 5 teams left without a loss and you could argue all 5 are surprises. No one thought New England would be sitting at 3-0 with Brady sidelined, but they haven’t missed a beat. Denver might not be a big surprise, but a lot of people wrote this team off with Trevor Siemian at quarterback. The big surprise in the AFC is the Ravens, who hardly anyone was picking to win the AFC North.
In the NFC, the two teams without a loss are the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings. Philadelphia easily being the big shocker. This was suppose to be a rebuilding year with rookie quarterback Carson Wentz. So far, Wentz looks like a seasoned veteran and the defense appears to be legit.
The big thing to keep in mind, is that we are just 3 games into the season. So much can change over the remaining 14 weeks.
It is worth noting that Week 4 is the start of bye weeks. We have two teams off this week in the Packers and Eagles.
Over the next few days, we will be previewing a number of the games and giving out a free betting lean on the spread or total. As the articles are published, I’ll include a link to the preview on this page. So, be sure to check back often.
