San Diego currently has a losing record at home this year but I expect them to start winning as they don't want to lose their fans this early in the season. A late flurry of runs from the Phillies sent last night's game 'over' the total and I'm projecting a higher-scoring game than most on Tuesday afternoon as well. Aaron Nola will get the start for the Phillies. The Mets know exactly what they're going to see as their current hitters have had a collective 243 at-bats against the veteran right-hander. Pete Alonso has worn Nola out, batting .348 with five home runs and three doubles in 46 at-bats. Starling Marte has hit .333 off of him in 27 at-bats, adding a home run and a pair of doubles. The list goes on. While New York has struggled offensively at home this season, it has fared considerably better against right-handed pitching, ranking inside the top half of the majors in OPS. Jose Butto will start for the Mets. Current Phillies hitters are batting .356 with four home runs off of him in 45 at-bats. Philadelphia ranks second in baseball in OPS this season including first in road OPS and fourth against right-handed pitching. Both bullpens have been solid lately (with the exception of the Mets last night) but do have 11 blown saves between them this season. Take the over.
