They will go with Freddy Peralta, who is eager to find his form. The Rays traded for him to be a top of the rotation guy and he needs to step up down the stretch. He allowed just 1 hit 4.2 innings against this Baltimore team last time out, but needs to cut down his pitch count early to work deeper into the game. Baltimore counters with Trevor Rogers, who allowed 7 hits to the Rays in his last start. While he got the win, the Rays just couldn’t come up with the timely hit, which is something that they’ve had for a majority of the year. This is a great bounce back spot. Back Tampa.

Cantillo threw a gem last time out where he allowed just 1 run across 6.0 innings against the Padres. Colorado counters with Tanner Gordon, who has had mixed results. Kansas City and Detroit battle on Friday and the Royals have value. Kansas City is catching some fire and playing some of their best baseball this season. They’ve rattled off 5 straight wins and they continue to produce offensively with timely hits. They’ll go with Noah Cameron in this one, who is off a complete game shutout against the Angels last time out. He allowed just one hit and he has the ability to really keep teams off balanced with his mix of pitches. Detroit counters with Troy Melton. While he’s been stellar, he did throw a lot of pitches last time out and only lasted 4.0 innings. Kansas City’s offense is rolling right now and they matchup well. Back the Royals.
