Tips on How to Use the NHL Betting Lines
This page helps you stay current with the latest hockey odds, which update every 15 minutes. There are also some useful features included to help you handicap the games.
In the tables above that there is a section labeled “Bet %.” This gives you a breakdown of the percentage of bets being placed on each side of a specific game.
Knowing what side of a wager is receiving the majority of the action can be used in your handicapping. Using Bet % with the opening lines – listed under “Opener” – it is easy to spot reverse line moves. It also allows you to get a feel for where the big money is being bet.
