The Angle: AC Milan has six wins in their last seven matches across all competitions and currently sits atop the Serie A table with an impressive 11-4 goal differential. Meanwhile, Pisa, newcomers to Italy’s top flight, sit last with a 3-10 goal differential. A week this early in the week might challenge some teams, but despite being a strong team, after a disappointing last season Milan has no European distractions. I like Milan to lay down the hammer and win by multiple goals.

The Angle: The LA Lakers are without injured LeBron James, but won't lack motivation as they seek to avenge last season's first-round playoff exit against the Wolves. 4% Dodgers/Blue Jays World Series Game 1 TOP  PLAY

The Angle: Credit to the Toronto Blue Jays, but they lack World Series experience, while the Dodgers are back aiming for a second straight title.

Game 1 pitching sets up perfectly for L.A., as rookie right-hander Trey Yesavage (2-1, 4.20 ERA), who only debuted five weeks ago, takes the mound for Toronto. The Dodgers counter with two-time Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell (3-0, 0.86 ERA), giving them a massive edge from the jump.

Factor in the rest of the Dodgers’ deep, battle-tested lineup, and they look primed to take control of the World Series.

Celtics/Knicks NBA BOOKIE BU$TER

The Angle: This looks like a good spot to back the Boston Celtics to bounce back from a narrow loss to Philly (we won with the Sixers!), while at the same time fade the Knicks coming off an upset win over Cleveland. This is a revenge spot for the Celtics after their playoff exit to the Knickerbockers last May. After blowing a 13-point fourth-quarter lead to the 76ers, I like the Celtics to keep full focus and deliver a strong performance in this one.

Bucks/Raptors NBA BOOKIE BREAKER

The Angle: The Toronto Raptors set a franchise record for points on opening night when they defated the Hawks in Atlanta 138-118 while shooting 56.8% from the field. Now in their home opener, I expect the Raptors to keep pushing as they look for revenge after losing all three meetings last season.

The Angle: The Sacramento Kings put up a good fight against Phoenix in their season opener but eventually came up short. The Utah Jazz are i the win column after an upset win over the Clippers. The Kings swept the four-game season series last season and I think they'll bounce back here, even without star center Domantas Sabonis who is questionable, in their home opener.
